Winthrop is a great place to do business. If you are looking to open up a new location, expand, or relocate, we invite you to consider our community.

Until now Winthrop was somewhat of a secret, even though we are next to Boston, on the MBTA Blue Line, and a quick trip through the tunnel to the Mass Pike. But the secret is out! Winthrop is a dynamic and progressive community – looking for new businesses.

A recent shopping survey conducted by the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce found that over 80% of Winthrop residents shop in town at least once a week. A report done by FXM Associates shows a remarkably high 78% retail leakage exists. With over 18,000 residents, Winthrop is demonstrating a need and desire for more businesses. There are many great opportunities here!

The Winthrop Chamber of Commerce is a very active business association, rated one of the "Top 25 Chambers" by the Boston Business Journal. We offer our full assistance to you and will help in any way possible. For more information about available commercial space or the community in general, please call us at 617-846-9898 or visit www.winthropchamber.com.

Now is an exciting time for Winthrop’s economy, with a new government in place, revamped zoning, and a business-friendly environment. A new 30-room inn will open this summer to complement the two other lodging establishments in town. Featuring low rents, abundant parking, and a convenient location, Winthrop has it all!
